Alex Bridal at St Anthony Hotel San Antonio

Bridal sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding journey. As a San Antonio bridal photographer, I love when I get to slow down and really focus on the bride—her personality, her dress, her details, and that quiet excitement before the big day.

For this bridal session, we headed to the stunning St. Anthony Hotel right in the heart of downtown San Antonio. This historic venue is full of charm, but the real magic happens at the Sky Terrace. It’s one of my favorite spots in the city for bridal portraits. The natural light, architecture, and open sky make it a dream location for timeless and elegant photos.

The bride looked absolutely radiant, and the soft breeze added just the right amount of movement to the veil and gown. We explored different parts of the terrace, playing with angles, shadows, and textures. Every corner of the terrace offered something visually rich, and I was able to highlight her beauty in a variety of compositions.

As a local bridal photographer in San Antonio, I always encourage brides to consider unique locations like this for their portraits—spaces that offer both emotional and visual connection.
