I’m so excited to share this beautiful and heartfelt wedding that I recently photographed in Comfort, Texas. From the moment I arrived, I knew this day was going to be something special—not only because of the amazing couple, but also the stunning venue and the unique personal touches they added throughout the day.

First of all, let me say how much I appreciate working with talented vendors. Nancy from Eventfully Yours truly went above and beyond—she was doing everything for everyone! Having a wedding planner like Nancy on your team makes the entire day run so smoothly, and as a photographer, I can’t recommend this enough.

Comfort is a small town just outside Boerne, Texas, heading up I-10 North. It’s such a hidden gem for weddings. What stood out the most to me was the on-site lodging—you can stay overnight and enjoy the next day exploring local wineries. It’s the kind of place that makes the whole wedding weekend feel like a retreat.

Now, let’s talk about the couple. Chale and their partner really made this wedding their own. I’ve been thinking about what I’d want for my own wedding someday, and honestly, they nailed it. They added thoughtful, personal details throughout the day—a superhero-themed suit (which was a fun surprise!) and a handwritten notebook for their vows. These meaningful touches created a wedding experience that was not only visually stunning but also deeply personal.

As a San Antonio wedding photographer with a documentary photography style, my goal is always to capture real, unposed moments. This wedding gave me the perfect environment to do just that—from the quiet morning preparations, to the emotional ceremony, and the celebration that followed. The light, the setting, and the energy of the couple and their loved ones made this one of my favorite weddings to document this season.
