Some engagement sessions just feel effortless—in the best way. This one was exactly that. It was truly a joy to photograph this amazing couple. Their chemistry, energy, and laughter made every frame feel alive.

We started the session at one of my favorite locations: the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. If you haven’t been, put it on your list. The variety of textures, open spaces, and beautifully maintained gardens make it a dream backdrop for photos. I’d give this location a solid 10 every time.

What made the session even more personal was learning how much they love soccer. It’s always great when couples bring a part of their story into the shoot. Whether it’s a passion, a location, or even a favorite jersey—those details matter.

Afterward, we headed to the McNay Art Museum. This place is stunning with its mix of art, architecture, and clean lines. It offers such a great contrast to the natural feel of the Botanical Gardens. The balance between nature and art in one session gave us a wide variety of images, all telling one unified love story.

As a San Antonio engagement photographer, I always encourage my couples to choose places that reflect who they are, and this session checked every box.
