Some weddings just stay with you — and Grace and Tyler’s celebration at Lost Mission was one of those days I’ll never forget. These two have the kind of love that lights up a room. Their joy, their laughter, and the way they connect with others is absolutely contagious.
From the very beginning of the day, I could feel the energy. Grace and her bridal party were sipping mimosas, getting ready with excitement and smiles that never faded. It was a perfect start to what would be a truly memorable day.
One of the most touching moments came during the reception — Grace’s father gave a heartfelt speech that moved everyone, including me. As a San Antonio wedding photographer, I’ve heard many speeches, but this one hit differently. The emotion in the room was so real, so raw… I’ll admit, I nearly cried behind the camera.
The setting at Lost Mission was stunning — a gorgeous venue that complements the elegance and spirit of a day like this. Every corner of the property added a beautiful texture to the story we were documenting. From the rustic chapel to the open skies and golden-hour light, it was a dream to photograph.
Being a documentary wedding photographer means I get to step into these moments and quietly capture the laughter, the tears, and all the in-between. Grace and Tyler made that easy. Their love is effortless and inspiring, and it was an honor to be part of their wedding day.
