Graciela and Julio Engagement Photos San Antonio

One of the things I love most about photographing engagement sessions in San Antonio is the variety of locations we have at our fingertips. When couples ask for recommendations, I always suggest picking two spots that offer contrasting vibes — something soft and natural, paired with something more urban and edgy.

That’s exactly what we did for this session.

We started outside The Witte Museum, which gave us gorgeous textures, architectural lines, and a natural setting that still feels classic and elegant. The light was beautiful and everything just came together perfectly — from their outfits to the calm energy of the space.

Then we made our way over to Hays Street Bridge, a San Antonio favorite for those golden-hour skyline views. The vibe instantly shifted — from quiet and intimate to dynamic and bold. That contrast is what makes these sessions so fun and meaningful. It’s a great way to tell both sides of a couple’s story — the peaceful moments and the playful ones.

Every couple brings their own energy to a session, and these two made my job easy. We laughed, explored, and ended the day with one of my favorite sunset shots overlooking the city.

If you’re planning your engagement session in San Antonio and want help finding the right mix of locations, I’d love to guide you through the process and document your story.
