Kathryn Bridal McNay Art Museum San Antonio Texas

I’m so excited to share Kathryn’s bridal session at the McNay Art Museum here in San Antonio, Texas. As a wedding photographer, one of my favorite things to photograph is a bridal session. It’s a chance to slow things down, focus on the details, and capture a bride in the quiet beauty of anticipation.

Kathryn looked absolutely stunning. The McNay, with its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and lush grounds, was the perfect setting for her bridal portraits. From the moment we started shooting, the light, the mood, and her calm energy all aligned. The museum’s hallways, arches, and courtyards gave us beautiful backdrops that really elevated every frame.

I always encourage brides to choose a location that reflects their personality—and the McNay is a place full of grace, art, and history, just like Kathryn. Every photo from this session felt like a timeless painting.

Sessions like this remind me why I love being a San Antonio bridal photographer. Getting to document this chapter of Kathryn’s story before her wedding day was such an honor.

Here are a few of my favorite images from her bridal session at the McNay.
