From the moment I walked into the getting-ready suite, I could feel the calm excitement in the air. Lindsay was radiant, surrounded by her closest friends, laughter echoing in the background while soft music played. I love photographing weddings like this — full of real moments and elegant details.
Hotel Valencia is one of my favorite wedding venues in San Antonio. Located right on the River Walk, the architecture has this beautiful blend of Spanish and modern influences. It’s full of warm textures, dramatic lighting, and cozy corners that make for truly cinematic wedding photos. The venue matched Lindsay and Derek’s style perfectly — classy, romantic, and full of heart.
Their ceremony took place in one of the intimate spaces inside the hotel, followed by cocktails on the terrace and a stunning candle-lit dinner reception. Every part of the day felt thoughtful and personal, from the heartfelt vows to the quiet, joyful glances they shared when no one else was watching.
One of my favorite moments? Taking them outside for night portraits along the River Walk — the city lights, the reflections on the water, and just the two of them soaking in the magic of their day.
