Priya and Richard Engagement Session Downtown San Antonio Texas

Hello all!

I met Priya a few months ago over the phone to plan their engagement session, and I could immediately tell we were going to click. The connection between photographer and couple is so important, and with Priya and her partner, it felt effortless.

They asked me to start the session in their apartment in downtown San Antonio, and let me tell you—this place was amazing. Think exposed brick walls, soft natural window light, and two super photogenic dogs that made the whole shoot even more heartwarming. I absolutely love when couples choose personal spaces for their photos. It brings a layer of intimacy that no outdoor location can match.

But this session wasn’t just about taking photos—it was a deep conversation about life, travel, and everything that makes San Antonio such an incredible city to live and love in. We wrapped the day with coffee at Shotgun House Coffee Roasters, which, thanks to them, has now become one of my favorite hangout spots.

This is what I love about being a San Antonio engagement photographer: every story is unique, every couple brings their own energy, and every session becomes a new memory I get to document and be a part of.
