If you have not heard of it, World’s Best Wedding Photos is a directory of documentary and photojournalistic wedding photographers from around the world. It is not a list you can buy your way onto. It is built around a specific kind of photographer, the kind who documents a wedding as it actually happens instead of staging it. That is how I have worked for fifteen years, so being included means a lot to me.

How I work

I am a San Antonio documentary wedding photographer. I photograph weddings across San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country, and beyond, and I do it the same way every time. Quietly, honestly, and without getting in the way. No posing. No staging. No standing around waiting for me to arrange a moment.

My background is in photojournalism, and that is really the whole thing. I move through your day watching for the real moments and I document them as they happen.

Why this matters to me

Most people remember their wedding as a feeling more than a set of poses. A parent seeing their kid ready for the first time. A laugh in the middle of the vows. The dance floor at the end of the night when nobody is thinking about a camera. You cannot pose those moments and they are gone in a second. Being there for them is the entire job.

That is why a feature like this means something. It is not about the posed portraits. It is about the honest, unrepeatable moments that make every wedding its own story.
